Placebo lie

by bex   Oct 10, 2005

Taking hands withdraw of breath
Spoken silence shaking head
Bruised, regretful
Dying eyes
Stole fears, your placebo lie

Sorry frown with broken wings
Passion embedded in my dreams
Treasured mistruths that you hide
The golden touch locked in your mind.

Swallow reasons you despise
Blood drenched treason of the blind
The damned linger as you scream
Scarring words yet to arrive
Continous clouding of the mind
Embers scattered at your feet
Resting you apart from me
