Two Years

by John   Oct 12, 2005

We've had two years together, and you're still the one
My heart still skips a beat for; your smile is my sun.
You're the one that I miss fiercely when we are apart.
You're the one that's wrapped around all of my heart.

Cuddling at midnight, kissing you at dawn,
Your star in the night sky, the one I wish upon.
Your head upon my shoulders; the caress of your hand,
The gestures that you show to make me feel that I'm your man.

PDA, Baby talk, the little things we share.
We've become what we hated, but we don't really care.
For it seems like we've been discovering our lives anew,
How else could even grocery shopping be so fun with you?

All put together, there is noone but you
That could make each day together feel so exciting and so new.
And as we move into the third year of our love together,
These last two have shown me I'll be loving you forever.
