Eyes of Nothing

by Gale   Oct 14, 2005

As she mysteriously gazes into the water,
She makes her tears silent so she wont be a bother.

Staring back at her is herself indeed,
But not the side that others see.

Her image gasps for air,
Yet all she shows is a cold hard stair.

She looks at her image as it slowly dies,
And the light flickers out of her eyes.

She turns around and with blankness in her eyes,
for the person that she was...that she is...silently died.

Entering the gates of death into an endless abyss...something is waiting on the other side,
Weather it be heaven, hell or nothingness.
