Walking the Path to Suicide

by Unforgiven Retniap doolb   Oct 16, 2005

Climbing to the top,
of this bottomless pit,
Probably going to give up,
might fall or rest and sit.

Walking on this road,
leaves cover the ground
No clue where it leads,
but just hoping I'll be found.

Searching in the dark,
hoping for the best,
and when I become weak,
In the darkness I'll still rest.

It's different from dark,
that is searching for light,
for this is never ending black,
that only finds comfort in the night.

Bloody arms,
Blood shot eyes,
Dark thoughts,
heavy Black lies.

Where does it all lead,
besides secrets that you must hide,
Where does it all lead,
besides a dark alley and suicide.

Good poem, very descriptive! I have a silmilar called here I am! I really liked it there was a lot of emotion in it and the flow was really nice, I feel that you "walk" should have went on a little longer though...........
