AMEN

by Daniel Mulvany   Oct 31, 2005

Sparks flew.
We won our game today.
I gave Lisa some perfumes.
I bought me a bunch of stuff.

Sparks flew.
What more can I say.

Gone today,
Yet here tomorrow's never guaranteed.
So which would you chose?
Freedom has its price, as does it its consequence.
Life is tempting, but why is it that living life by His will is not so?
Who should head my life but God?
I'm trying for the straight and narrow.
I let myself slip,
But I'm not giving up.
The consequence will never exceed the price.
It's not a consequence at all.
It's a liberty!
Let my life have that liberty.
Give me all that I can take.
Fill me.

Sparks flew.

Here it is before me,
The life of which I'd often dreamed,
It was mine to be,
Or so at one time it seemed.

Sparks flew.

I can't sort out my head. There's so much going on. I feel like I'm spinning. It's kind of crazy. Once lifted the the highest of peaks, only to fall from it again. And it's a long way down.
Is giving up OK? Why can't I?
So much to say in so few words.

Sparks flew.

I miss...
There are so many things. I remember when I used to be such a bad kid. Things weren't so complicated then. I didn't care.

I CARE TOO MUCH!

Is wanting to always do what's right wrong? Is there a point where you should join the crowd?

If I could live anywhere I wanted to, or if I had to tell you where my happy place is, it would be Church. I love being in the presence of God and in fellowship. Lord be in me always.

In this last month I could not have made it through everything without His strength. Thank you God for being with me. You make me strong, and keep me humble. I'm not the example. You are. I hope that when people look at me and see the person that I am, they realize it's You in me.

I LOVE YOU GOD!

Protect me. Watch over me. Keep me safe from sin. Help me to be a witness. Shine through me.

AMEN!
