Innocence

by Brook   Nov 3, 2005

The rain pours down
The angel is crying, dying.
Her wings have been broken,
Ripped away.
Innocence gone, taken.
Inside she still hurts,
She is at her worst
Her spirit has been taken.
No more laughter,
Only tears.
The only thing she knows now
Is her fears.

I love this, the short lines make it more effective, and I really liked how you added the little rhyme, 'the angel is crying, dying.' Really nice work here.
