Guilty pleasures x.

by bex   Nov 7, 2005

That paint smear on your shoe
The ribbon in your hair
A fleeting smile just for one moment, could bring my tears out in the air
My cheeks they flush crimson
My eyes look to the floor.
To know her gaze upon me, I feel naked, raw

With guilty pleasures on my mind, her hands slowly work their charm
My thoughts keep overlapping while my knees grind amongst the dirt
This time is all that matters now, this yearning love can feel no hurt

Each voice turns to a whisper as it fades into the night,
This candle light is all that guides me now.
You tiptoe to my room, my desire dressed in black
The hunger in you kiss, flows through your arching back.

That paint smear on your shoe
The ribbon in your hair
Each day I battle with these urges to speak you name and connect my stare.
My cheeks they flush crimson
My eyes look to the floor.
In my mind I'd curtsey, one last slow dance, one last flaw.
