AWalkwayToMyEnd

by bex   Nov 14, 2005

Our song kept on repeat, to repeat it one last time
I'll embrace you and relapse
Kick me to the floor

Your cries are all in vain
While your bruises scream each desolate name
To gleam in your brilliance, to be blinded in your sheen
This alkaline cure, your one last enemy
Scrape our sins into the floor

Look to me, sterile in greed for more
Your corpse could be of value when preserved just for the best
A trophy for non-burial
I'd store you in a chest.
Treasure of the thieves, an antic for my bride

With sweet eyes and sex on your breathe
I'd perish at the thought
I'd wipe you clean of all your shame, glistening in my dreams

Your patience wears thin while we play this final chord
Repeated in my memories and echoed in your bed
Instead I chose his sweet touch to strangle me in this walkway to my end.
