What happened to us?
We've drifted apart.
You meant everything to me,
You took the other half of my heart.
We had plans for our future,
We've been best friends for years.
But now he's taken my place,
And i can't seem to hold back the tears.
You never call anymore,
We haven't talked in weeks.
Every time the memories of me and you flashback,
I pause,
And suddenly tears are streaming down my cheeks.
You may not see what this is doing to me,
But i am slowly falling apart.
I can't live without you,
You were right by my side from the start.
I don't know what's going to happen with me,
For you were my reason to live.
Now, I'm just sitting alone, thinking,
what do i have to give?
For you were my shoulder to cry on,
You were the telling my i was worth it.
But now, I guess you've moved on,
And the puzzle pieces of life just don't seem to fit.
You were my true best friend,
and you always will be.
We've been through so much together,
Please don't forget about me.
So each night i close my eyes and Hopefully pray to God,
That you are happy, and that maybe someday you will remember I'm still here.
And everyday i hope you'll know,
you'll always be my angel,
and i wish that you were always near.
I'm so confused and broken hearted,
My worst night mare has come true.
But i still want you to know you are my best friend I've ever had,
And you'll never know how much i truly love you..
