Melody Eyes

by melody eyes   Nov 29, 2005

I know a girl who plays the violin
She plays each note from deep within

They tell of stories of tomorrow
Stringing out notes of pure sorrow

Head bowed down another stroke
Telling us how her poor heart broke

another quaver, with a slurred tone
She tells us how shes hurt to the bone

A bit of accent going up scale
shes nearly finished her cold sad tale

Slowly playing the few last bars
her hand glides perfectly but is riddled by scars

playing a song of hurtful lies
the melody comes pouring from her eyes
