I Don't Know

She tells me shes sorry on the phone and in a note,
This is what she said,"I'm really really really sorry" and thats a quote,
An apology and,I don't know if I can accept it,
Because right now my fire is really lit,
She says she just wants to be a friend,
And that she'll be with me til the end,

For me friends wont do,
I wish she would be true,
I know theres something else for her to tell,
I know when she comes to my house she leaves hell,
I don't think I should like her any more,
Because what she did, she acted like a hor.e,

I don't know if she likes me or not,
But she did leave me in my room to rot,
I saw her at church last night,
And it looked like her eyes were really bright,
She had an unusual smile,
A smile i hadn't seen in a while,

I'm tired of playing her game,
Because its getting really lame,
I'm tired of trying to paint a perfect picture,
When other guys are trying to kiss her,
I'm not sure if its the liquor that makes me act blind,
Because I'm always a few steps behind...
