Glowing Snow

by lisa marie   Dec 2, 2005

Another winter covered in snow
little flakes that softly flow
in the air all aglow
makes our eyes hollow

somehow we drown inside
a pool of tears that we've cried
and our bodies always collide
while our feelings all divide

and we're all the same today
the glowing snow is never enough
because we're all what we say
always distant and far away

another winter to behold
another year of growing old
and you remember what you're told
to never catch a winter cold

somehow we drift aside,
only feeling like we've tried;
hard enough to abide;
the white monster asleep outside

and we're all the same today
the glowing snow is always tough
because we're all what we say
always distant and far away

    The rhyming is okay. all of the stanzas are in a aaaa bbbb scheme. there are two that aren't but if you look closely maybe you'll see something.

    Hmm...It was a good idea. But they rhyming was a bit...not forced but all over the place. It does make many points but does not focus on any for too long which could be a good or a bad thing. I like the first stanza lots but I felt it needed another to end it with more finality.
