Hidden Beneath

by Dani   Dec 2, 2005

She comes home and looks in the mirror, there goes another day being made fun of, one more lived in fear.

She sits there and looks deep into her own eyes, no one would ever believe that all those rumors weren't true, they're just horrible lies.

She sees her hair of Golden brown, and eyes of lushes green, she wonders how this world got to be so cold, why people are so mean.

So how come just because her clothes aren't in style, and she gets straight A's, means she gets made fun of for all her teenage days

If people wouldn't concentrate just on what they see, and look on to whats hidden beneath, maybe this girl would not feel like a nothing

Instead of making fun of others why can't we pull together, when will we realize that would make our world so much better.
