A TASTE OF REDEMPTION

by Gary Jurechka   Dec 2, 2005

I had a dream
of salvation in the night,
clench tight my eyes,
steer me round,
hear the silent cries,
always lost
waiting to be found.

In a world of compounded fractures
wanting to be healed,
a shadow in the dark,
praying my fate isn't sealed,
and to be a candle burning bright,
I had a dream
of salvation in the night.
