Death

by Dean Russell-Rands   Dec 9, 2005

Death is all around us, and still we dont understand it.
Memories are gathered like a flock of sheep.
Tears fall like rain and once again,
In this small, pitiful world all we have is none but ourselves.

Very dark, but I like that because it was so short you had to put a lot of meaning into a few lines...I once wrote a similar poem, about a subject that wasn't so deep, but it wasn't received very well...

    I liked this one, though.
