An eagle perches on a mountaintop,
to see if he found what he had sought.
Things like Truth among Lies,
Faith amongst Deception,
and Love amidst hatred.
He rests his wary wings a while,
and lowers a wary head.
Contemplating if he could find life,
among those whom are now dead.
