We Could Have Lasted For Forever

So many years have passed us by
I still think of you, but I don't know why
I think of all the times we shared
To then find out you just don't care

After all, that is why you left me
At least now i finally see
You thought I was hot, beautiful, cute
You used me then gave me the boot.

I really thought you loved me too
But I guess my thoughts just weren't true
The sad thing was, I thought we'd last
Our relationship could have been a blast

If only you hadn't told that lie
If only you never made me cry
Then maybe we'd still be together
We could have lasted for forever
