Twas the night before Christmas

by ღ*KiM*ღ   Dec 19, 2005

Twas the night before Christmas
And he sat all alone
No presents beside him
No joy in his home

The kitchen was empty
The living room bare
It was clear that Santa
Would never be there

He drifted to sleep
In his ragged old bed
The thoughts of a Christmas
Filled his lonely head

In the kitchen, his mother
Downing shots from the cap
He crawls to the bathroom
And eases on the tap

*unfinished*
