Kia Ora

by † Usher Stiegler †   Dec 20, 2005

All I have to say is goodbye,
It is now my time to die.

Lying in a pool of blood on the floor,
I dont want to go on anymore.

I have left all my mates,
Im now standing at heavens gates.

Please dont cry for I am in a better place,
Heavens full of every race.

Please dont worry for one day you will see my face again.

Kia Ora..

He maha nga tau e mau ana to raua whakahoanga.

Kia Ora means "Goodbye.."
He maha nga tau e mau ana to raua whakahoanga means "Our friendship will remain forever"

I think you should use 'ka kite' instead of'kiaora' as most people use it for greeting. I liked how you were able to show your emotions effectively without sounding exaggerated, its a fine line between the two. Your writing is also very controlled here, comes off nicely. Kia kaha e hoa :)
