What if you never saw me 2 yrs ago
in wal-mart's parking lot
what if everything you stood for
u suddenly forgot

what if i never went to your school
what if i moved away
what if instead of going the whole 10 yards
i only met you halfway

what if you never saw me smile
what if my life way full of pain
would you do everything
all over again?

what if you never saw me walk by
what if i tried to hide
what if everyday after school
i ran to my room and cried

what if we never exchanged words
what if you could have never read my mind
what if you never knew that in the future
my life you defined

what if i told you i wasn't interested
and i never wanted anything to do with you
would you leave me alone
and look for someone new?

what if we never shared a first kiss
what if we never held hands
what if i was the only one
who truly understands?

what if i said no...
what if i turned and walked away?
what if i told you that without you
I'll learn to be OK?

what if i wasn't for real?
what if i lied?
and what if between you and him
i couldn't decide?

but its not like that
you were always my number one
you have always made me feel special
and i have to say my heart you have won
