Digging Deeper

by Drew Gold   Dec 25, 2005

Your lips move
enchanting unheard
desires

carving flesh into stone
with each
indescribable word

and digging deeper
into the fissure
between...

don't fret,
for your glory
will be solidified-

in my mind,
where you'll stay
a representative epitaph

engraved on your tombstone
are these claw-marks,

and it's long-since forgotten
whether they're yours or mine.

Amazing job i really think you are an amazing poet and i really love your writing because you just take out the good stuff and just thew it into a poem which is an awesome idea. I love it. I loved this poem also. I wasn't sure what you were trying to tell us at all but at the end how it says yours or mine i'm guess it was a flaw of one of you guys work of forgetting. i hope that made sence. keep it up. keep on writing. love always and forever.
