Heart's Gold

Gather with friends and family
to celebrate a sweet sixteen
inviting the ones we love
thankful for their blessings

One who lights my heart
includes me in her fun
A friendship building strong
I pray it continues on

Then my closest friend of love
A princess of my heart
building from years before
my snow angel to adore

not forgetting my family
even the new additions
sometimes I'm driven crazy
but I wouldn't change a thing

Also for life time friends
sharing laughs and games
smiles across the board
thanks for all the support

Though the presents are fun
you've given me something more
the friendship in my heart
A footprint of love in my life
