You were just a waste
it's kind of a drag too
and this may come as a shock...
but I'm not obsessed with you

yeah I still think of you
but only from time to time
but tha's all going out now
and getting put into this rhyme

I remember that one summer
when you were all I thought about
EVERY SINGLE DAY..
it was like I couldn't shut you out

close to the end of summer
I would just count down the days,
not for school to start
but so I could see your face

when school started up again
I could only see you on the bus
cuz you were older than me
so you went to a different campus

you were all I ever talked about
to like everyone I Knew
and they all got kinda tired
of hearing about you

you were my favorite person,
I remember that for a while.
I liked the way you saw things
and you could always make me smile

but later on that year
you took my innonce away
but wether or not you know it...
I can't really say

and the VERY NEXT DAY
it was over...and I cried
's a matter of fact I couldn't stop,
it just tore me up inside

I thought that was kinda screwed
and decided to speak my mind
that kinda messed things up,
but its not like before that they were fine

I labled you a liar
and you labled me a s/ut
you said horrible things
but now its like...so what?

    Hey. Thanks for all of your comments, I really appreciated them. I have read a few of your poems, unfortunately I can't comment on the love ones (something signs me out :S) but I would just like to say that they were also really good. This one wasn't your best one, but it was still good. One of the things I noticed, is you write just as you speak. With the word 'like' places that it isn't needed. For example:

    you were all I ever talked about
    to 'like' everyone I Knew

    I thought maybe you could replace that slang kind of thing with:

    you were all I ever talked about
    to almost everyone I Knew.

    Anyway, that's my two cents for this particulary poem. Otherwise though, it was pretty good. Keep up the good work, I hope to see more from you! :)
