THE COLOUR OF THOUGHT

by Gary Jurechka   Jan 10, 2006

I wonder about
the colour of thought,
the texture of reality,
the truth of illusion,
we wear the chameleon skin,
and yet every facet
of the beautiful
but flawed diamond
that we are
is just one of many parts
that make up
who we were,
who we will be,
and who we are now.

What was true yesterday
isn't as black and white today,
the world and I
are ever changing,
seldom at the same speed
or in the same direction,
and I wonder
in my time's eye view,
about the vision of infinite perception,
the chaos of reason,
and the colour of thought.

Wow, perfectly written, as all of you're poems! The idea, the words, the flow, absolutely breathtaking! I'm in awe!
