Time Slipping By

by Bill Turner   Jan 14, 2006

Time keeps slipping by...
Does not need a reason, never asking why
Some days I think my time has past
My life is through...
Closing my eyes, I think of you
Slowly the hands of time grind to a halt
I feel my world shudder with the sudden stop
Then it begins anew...
Time
Ever passing
Flying by, a tumbleweed on a windy day...
My heart keeps calling to me...
Love has past me by
Heart demanding to know why!
Insisting I do my part, find love again
Little does it know that it will again have love...
I do not know when...
She comes to me in my dreams
Nights filled with passionate screams...
Gone with the morning light
Time...
That is when she will come to me
When it is time...
Until that moment
Time keeps slipping by...

One word, three letters: WOW!! Bill, I am blown away. The wind has lifted my spirit, and carried back through time to a long forgotten memory. Incredible!
