I thought I had liked you,
but it turned out to be love.
I never thought you'd cross my mind,
but your the one I'm thinking of.
I never thought I'd have you,
but it turned out that I did.
I said I'd always be open,
but it turned out that I hid.
I loved it when we were apart,
but I hated it when we were together.
I saw that it would end,
but I dreamed it would stay forever.
When we finally went apart,
all I did was sigh.
But now that I realize what I had,
all I can do is cry.
