M.A.S.K.

Maliciously waiting to become someone.
Accounting for yourself.
Scorching the earth till we've won.
Killing the mask we wear ourselves.

Maintaining the life we call our own.
Answering the world we try to mend.
Seizing the moments that set the tone.
Kissing the mask that makes it all end.

A stanza or two more with this sort of energetic rhythm and superb vision and it's most definitely one of the best I've seen on here.

    Keep up the good work.

I did like your poem and thought it was brilliantly written however I thought something was missing. I felt like you could have kept going and maybe even brought more feeling into it. I did really like it though...I couldn't vote on it because although it was great I felt it a little incomplete so I didn't know how to vote on it. With that said I think you do have a great talent as a writer
