WITH AND WITHOUT YOU

by Gary Jurechka   Jan 28, 2006

Without you
I exist lost in the nothing,
I can't stand alone
and all is empty existence,
meaningless and mundane,
a world of gray vision.

With you
I can swallow stars,
ride the wind,
and dance on clouds,
I can take chances
and still be secure,
I can be nothing at all
and still be all there is to be,
I can burn from inside out
and remain in cool dreams,
living larger than life.

Even when I'm alone
you are still inside me,
and I never want to be
without you
for it is everything when I'm
with you.
