Beautifully done! I love all of this. I was hooked with the first stanza (I love the ocean...the sea is in my veins). You tie it all together in a wonderful way. Such talent.

I absolutely love this poem! It is so beautiful, especially how you put it together. I'm in awe! I may be reading it wrong, but I can't help but think that it's about the ocean ? Unless I'm just a doufus and that was right in front of my face the whole time... lol Either way, it's very lovely. I love the choice of words and the nice flow it creates.
Thanks for your comment on my poem! I lived in Mount Pearl until I was about 10, then I moved to Alberta, but I spent a lot of my time in Dildo/New Harbour and Hants Harbour, because I have a lot of family over there. I miss it terribly!

I love nature poems and this one was fantastic. I like the way you used all the words to make the last line.
