My best friend is gone

Where has my best friend gone?
She left me so alone
we had such a good bond
For a woman her age
she was healthy and fit,
who would ever of thought
she would get sick.

We were like sisters
through laughter and pain
and from her wisdom
i still had so much to gain
who will listen to all
my problems and fears
when i think of all i will miss
i just fill up with tears

Never a day goes by
that i don't mention her name
wherever she is i
hope she found her hall of fame
all i have left
is the memories we shared
i wish i could have told her
before she left how much i cared

I loved my best friend
who was like a sister
and god knows how much i miss her
its not my father or my brothers
surely the one i miss is my
MOTHER!!
