Dear Dad

I wish you were there for me
I wish you could act like a normal dad
I wish you would show me you cared
I wish you wouldn't make me sad.

I wish you would spend time with me
I wish you would stay out of the bar
I wish you would help me with my problems
I wish you wouldn't make me scar.

I wish you would pay attention to me
I wish you would at least act like you care
I wish you would treat me like your daughter
I wish you would treat me fair.

I wish you would love me
I wish you would at least try
I wish you would grow up
And stop making me cry.

*This is true..this is how my dad really is*

    This is great! i cant say i really relate to it, the way i have been treated my dad has killed all my emtional ties to him, has been that way for awhile.
    but u r really talented and i am so sorry that he has been putting you thru this!

    Aww... I am really sorry, If you want I can share my dad! I am really sorry, I am glad that my dad isn't like that anymore. Ever sence I was born my dad has stoped drinking! But I am really sorry! Great Poem by the way!
