Caught In Casual Phrases

by bex   Jan 31, 2006

Keep nonchalant, composed and enthralled
Red hot, moonlight glare
Can't combine, can't compete.
Silent in the snow, I close my eyes
A trace of you could fulfil my prays
Tell me the story that stopped my beat,
Stopped the light for just a moment - a moment from the deep
Black magic clutched your hand, black magic in your face.
Today I met my culture, head on and fierce.
Drowning in the current while our world escalates.
In demand but out of time, seek comfort in that stupid rhyme
