Always wondered what I did wrong
Why you couldn’t look at me the same

That completely changed my name

You had always been the same in my eyes
I would look at you and see what I lost
Before I was just trying to live my life
And never thought about the cost

Why was I thinking of you
When you couldn't even return a call
How could you forget what you felt
While I remember it all

I use to make you smile
Gave you comfort from what you faced
But now you feel betrayed
And I have been replaced

You had your certain standards
And I did not fit the part
You always kept me waiting and guessing
If I would ever hold your heart

It was always about you
You could never do wrong
You always had it figured out
And it took me much too long

But I finally realized what I should have long ago
Your words were only said to lead me on
I listened to them without looking into your eyes
Never saw that the honesty was gone

Never saw that when you looked at me
You would look right through
Always thought it was my fault
That I was not enough to you

You never gave me a chance
I was always the one to blame
You’re the one whose feelings changed
While mine were always the same

It is your fault it did not work out
Your fault that you got mad
You can't say it was my mistakes that lost you
