Unfamiliar Eyes

by Chris Harding   Feb 4, 2006

Descent into an unknown world
Free-falling amongst the clouds
As I kiss the stars good night

The day dawns as the sunsets
And all creation unravells before me

A distant observer
To an unreal chaos

Who treads into the darkness
Where logic loses its meaning?

A blurred line between two
Not so disimilar paths
So hard to choose
To make the right choice

What perverted morals do we now live by?
Where is our sense of justice?

Free-falling amongst the clouds
As I kiss the world goodbye

A holocaust of the mind
As I descend into a world
No longer recognizeable
To these unfamiliar eyes
