Chosen

Such a fool
I can be such a fool
given so much wisdom
and it isn't even used
shown so much mercy
and yet its abused
when battles come, I'm armed and my swords ready, but i still lose.
Then I remember, I've been chosen
God has handpicked me for His purpose
but sometimes I can't give Him a day of excellent service
which is a shame
but I'm to blame
so I get up and try again
remembering...
I've been chosen
to spread news on His love
to warn people about His soon coming from above
To be an example and walk upright
I've been chosen in this world of darkness to be a light
When people are down, He's chosen me to comfort them
with His word
He's chosen me to pray for people ALL around the world
And for these reasons and more
I'm constantly under Satan's attack
but I can non longer just take it and its back
I got to fight back
Because God is still blessing an undeserving me
And I will praise Him
And do His work
He has chosen me
