Playing Fake

Pretend,
Playing fake,
Lying about emotions,
While drowning in heartache.
Deceiving with you,
While i force myself,
To write these words,
So hurt,
But it's worth it.
I'd rather be wrong,
Than regret not trying to belong.
I'll keep living this dream,
And I'll keep trying,
Not to scream,
Just so you can proclaim that you love me-
Though it feels like an empty promise.
Sometimes...
And when i hear you cry,
I know without you I'd die,
But through those tears,
I hear you LIE,

Or maybe it's just all in my mind.
