So long.

by AngelWithin   Feb 8, 2006

Green eyes for pebbles.
Staring at you so, I could stone you to death with a blink of my lids.
But I won't.
For I am swimming in a sorrowful ocean.
One that I shall soon drown in.
My last love.

But wait....
No. I shall not let you win.

My skin itches from the last touch I had from you.
Blotchy and red...Nothing gets rid of the pain.
The agony.
The irritation.
I don't think it will ever leave me.

My heart.
Did it break in two?
No.
I would'nt let it break.
Because... my dear "love"
It pumps harder without you here.
A pulse so strong keeps me going.
No wonder I let you say good bye.

Wow, creative and original. I particulary liked the first two lines, they are very unique and really enticed me to read more. Your descriptions of love and heartbreak are completely tangible and everything fits in here. Awesome work :)
