Broken mornings, you lips sealed the deal.

by bex   Feb 9, 2006

As the morning undresses you
I watch you move, your shape
The light recovers each groove in your skin
A trail my fingertips so delicately explored
So sweet tastes the twilight
Daring not to move
Disturb the hazy admire
Quiet soothes the glade
Wakeful nights, subdued mornings
Lucid marks on the carpet
Sweet innocence, I watched you for awhile
Silent, on tiptoes, you make your way through
Smiles of the broadest kind
Attracted to our subtle qualities
Revealed with the dawn dew
Lying next to you, so uncertain if I'm breathing
Pale skin
The coldest touch could fulfil me
Your pillow our shared ground
Even for the last night I'd cling onto you constantly
Repeat, play back
Our motions so surreal
While the night caresses you
I glance to you, memorize your shape
Dusk hints, swallowing your silhouette
A spectre to embody, to draw you in
Lustre in the dim
Absence in the foreground
My wits contradict
Candle burn out
Your lips sealed the deal.

I think in poems like this...
    Your talent really shines...
    everything flows all to perfectly
    no need for any pattern
Because your words piece it together with ease
    love it hunny
