My dream

My night in shining armor
Came one night in my sleep
He came and rescued me
From a fall so deep

He fought off all those dragons of doubts
The ones that made me believe
That all guys are pricks
And all they do is deceive

He took me to his castle
And he treated me with respect
He didn't treat me like
I was annoying little insect

He said that I was his princess
And that one day
We will have our own little prince
And that he will never go away

Then I realize I was in a dream
But I will always love my guy
He is the one I've waited for
And that is no lie

    Haha, this is very cute. Short, to the point, and sweet. Nice writing, Sarah. The first line, first stanza, you say 'night' and I think you mean to say 'knight.' Maybe you are intentionally using a play on words, I'm not sure. Keep writing! Congrats on 1st place in the club contest.

    S reminds me of my poem called "fairytale love" I think its really cute and sweet. The emotion seemed some what strong throughout this. and i love the use of fairytales. Well done ~mel
