Thinking about our memories once again,
I've always believed in you,
I was always there and you were too,
Always trusted you after all that we've been through.

I used to be so paranoid,
You changed that thought,
but that night i learned,
those lies i should have never bought.

You were so far away,
oh wait, you still are,
I've always felt your presence beside me,
now I'm waiting for this recent wound to turn to scar.

Of all the people around me,
I love and trust you the most,
I could never have imagined,
you could cheat like that just on the other coast.

So close, yet so far,
just promise it wont happen again,
and I'll continue to wish on this star,
just break this silence and take back this pain.

    Relationships are hard and painful especially when one person puts more into the relationship than another because then they get hurt. It is hard to love and then to loose that love. It kills you to a million pieces because you loved them and gave that person the most valueable thing that you can . . . yourself. A powerful poem, love. My heart goes out to you. Hugs. I hope you can find the person who is deserving of the great love you have to offer.
