Storms Of Emotion

Storms of emotion colliding in a stale air, void of passion. Lightning strikes, once, twice, for the gods who stand above the rest. Fire lights up the night as a faint mist turns into a deadly downpour. And lives stand on the line, ready to die for their belief that the clouds can be calmed and the battle beaten down to apologies waiting on both ends of a sharpened stick. The cold wind whips through their souls searching for what is wanted most, what is unknown to even themselves. And the tears that trickle in her heart go unnoticed in the rain, but when he protects her form the storm his wrongdoing hits him like a freshly fired bullet . . .
