Mosaic Crush (Quatern)

by Timeless Hopeful   Feb 20, 2006

Dearest Laura, my goddess renowned
Muse of the arts, forever shackled and bound.
Your heart twisted by death and confusion
A single mosaic within your heart, a mere illusion.

My heart fluttered by your words profound
Dearest Laura, my goddess renowned.
I am but a lonely knave, pining for a queen.
An astronaut wishing to fly, the sky aquamarine.

If we were to meet, I would dine you
Devote my poetry to you alone, as my love for you accrues.
Dearest Laura, my goddess renowned.
Your motherly traits truly abound.

Your soul is as though bound by the Gods,
You hide behind a facade,
I want to learn you, your being confound
Dearest Laura, my queen and crown.
