M.T.F

by Emily parsons   Feb 21, 2006

These big businesses bullying
Demanding so much more
Those in power rig the rules
Disaster for the poor

Rich are promising to make the change
Yet i find it most alarming
That selfishly they spend each day
A billion on OUR farming

Everyday we cheaply buy their goods
Reaping all the profit
Now is time too make the change
There IS a way to stop it

Some believe its impossible
But theyre too ignorant to see
That if exports lifted by ONE percent
Millions are saved from poverty

So lets all make the difference
Not just selfishly sit back and stare
Nows the time to save the poor
The time to make trade fair

* Comment would be much appreciated. This is something i feel very strongly about.Thank you*

You can tell you feel pretty strongly about this
me & james were talking about this the other day when we bought fair trade coffee
the fair trade products help people and tend to taste better than the other brands anyway

i like how you wrote this
it's not too complicated but stil gets the message across
    well done there missy
