STANDING IN THE STORM

by Gary Jurechka   Feb 27, 2006

The rain hits
hard and fast,
like quick thought
comet flashing
through black space.

The rain subsides to
gentle feather kisses
caressing my skin.

Clear are the revelations
of the storm cleansed mind,

strong beats the heart
that loves deeply,

pure is the passion
reigning over me,

alive is the radiant soul
breathing in
the wet
fresh
colours.

Awesome ... made me step back and pause. Of course the favorite part for me was "Clear are the revelations of the storm cleansed mind". You have the magical touch with words.

Wow! this is a beautiful piece! i especially love the lines

    "Clear are the revelations
    of the storm cleansed mind,"

your diction and flawless flow most often leave me at a loss for words.

    great reading!
