Renewed Life

The weight was lifted
breathes came deep
a sigh escaped
no longer a secret to keep

no more worries
or sleepless nights
things are clear
and seen in a new light

picking up the shattered dreams
given a second chance
my heart floats to the sky
my feet light enough to dance

realizing i am too young
and not even in love
my sins have been forgiven
by some wondrous grace above

my future was not altered
because of a foolish mistake
i have learned my lesson
before it was too late

i know this poem doesnt really make much sense, it's about a close call i had, for two months i thought i was pregnant
