Devil's *****

by Braeden Monks   Mar 2, 2006

The sun sets on you body
The fog engulfed it ever slowly
You lay motionless on the ground
I couldn't speak, nor make a sound
The words were there but wouldn't come out
I knew what I had to do I had to shout
To every person in this empty world
To every boy and every girl
I need to be forgiven
For I this life I have taken
It wasn't mine to have stolen so bluntly
Now you lay a deep puddle bloody
"Though you did not know of which I was prepared to do
Neither I nor had such a clue"
Was all I could get out
Before I couldn't even move my mouth
I just kissed your cold dead hand
And realized that you were no longer a man
Just a corpse and nothing more
Now sentenced to be forever the devil's *****
