Naive!

by Anton   Mar 12, 2006

How naive believe in a just world,
A lie beyond all imaginability.
Believing in the existence of family values,
A state of mind with disappointment as its inevitability.
Trusting in the love of our companions,
In the desperate hope that it will help us survive.
Knowing that this world has become far beyond repair,
And a disaster of which only God can revive.
So we struggle each day to find a firm foundation,
A place to safely rest our feet.
So that if one day we should happen to fall,
We know our fall shall have something to meet.
But we must not forget as we fall,
That it is our fallen times that define our life.
For every time we stumble there is a lesson,
A lesson that will free us from tomorrows strife.
The hate of the world is infinite,
But we must be courags when we face tomorrow.
For once we overcome our fear of lifes pain,
There will be infinite joy and minimal sorrow.
