Woodland Fairy

by Twisted Heart   Mar 22, 2006

Just a flicker of a light
trailing down the end of a sunbeam
Tiny sparkles shining through
her iridescent wings
A dress of flower petals
adorn her tiny form
Perched upon a raindrop
on a branch where she was born
Her hair of spun gold crystals
A smile made to impress
Such a sight for weary eyes
In Truth I must confess,
I saw her in her splendor
no greater beauty had I seen
For just a speck she lingered
before her heart took wing.

Great Imagery! I must say this paints something beautiful! I love how it sort of rhymes but doesn't at the same time... if you know what i mean... I dont know how to explain it... All in all great write and wonderful imagination.
