I scream disease

by Lenny   Mar 27, 2006

I spit up Angina,
I smile the plague,
And when I glare,
I glare a blade,

And when I scream,
I scream disease,
I scream the lies,
I scream to please,

I cough up cancer,
I choke on truths,
And when I sneeze,
I sneeze a noose,

I laugh Glaucoma,
I cry out stones,
And with a whisper,
I break my bones,

And when I scream,
I scream disease,
I scream the lies,
I scream to please,
I scream for love,
I scream to heed,
But most of all,
I scream to bleed,

Pretty sweet yet bitterly dark poem.. i definitely like the way you worded each stanza and the AWESOME flow of it, all the way through.. i dont really have any crits, just praise, but it's totally deserved.. YOU ARE AWESOME.. 5/5, hands-down. =O)

Hmm it was interesting. unlike any poem i have ever read. i liked it despite sort of being repulsed, bc i dont really do dark. but i liked it; unique and stuff. coolness.

I didn't really get it and all the stuff about the diseases kind of grossed me out. The repetition was okay, not great exactly, but it is a good poem I guess for this catergory. I think some of your wording in the start was a little shaky, though. Otherwise, good poem.

Cool poem, I think the repetiton of 'And when I scream,
    I scream disease,
    I scream the lies,
I scream to please' kinda lost the impact for the last verse, but still a great poem, keep up the good work : )
