Root

by guyute   Mar 29, 2006

Rivers run red with the blood of the innocent
So the streets can be painted green with greed
Our cities morals are so twisted and bent
While the hearts of million or wounded in need

Dig a hole In my garden
Plant a seed for you and me
Let the unholy man’s heart harden
Let the fruitless finally see

Pull me up by my roots
And see my past and lost
Cut my down by my roots
And see what my life really costs

End my life with your words
Let me go painless in awe
I will die at the sound of those words
The most fearless death you ever saw
